Fixed Mindset - the belief that intelligence is a fixed trait and is set in stone at birth.
For many of us adults and young adults, we were not taught mindset growth techniques in school, whereas nowadays they are implementing growth mindset strategies at the early education level. While many people will say that they cannot change their fixed mindset, research and 'success' says otherwise.
The challenge most of us have is believing that we can infact change out mindset for the better. We choose not to take a step back and evaluate our mindset and learn the techniques to develop it.
